I shouldn't have gotten into this with Stylus - I don't own it, but did use it for a week to see what it was like. Patch Searchback - Disabled (keeps Sonar from changing to beginning of track settings whenever you stop/start the controller.) Zero Controllers - Disabled (another busybody feature that's useful once in a while, only) Set Now Time with Full Reset - Disabled (annoying feature!)Īnd check your Options / Project / MIDI Out Write Cable MIDI events - Enabled (sets port/channel explicitly when track runs)ĭisable Input Monitoring - Disabled (always manage monitor switches yourself, so you know the state by inspection)Īlways Echo MIDI - Disabled (always setup your Echos manually, so you know exactly what is being sent.) Use Sysex Banks - Enabled (most efficient, and the way most synths now work). In Sonar, check your Options / Global / General. Well, did you 'try' anything else in Sonar, like setting the input channels? You may have changed something seemingly unrelated.
